Ha Long is one of the must-do destinations when you visit Northern Vietnam so yes, plus any tourism office in Hanoi can provide you with transportation to go there. If you have any trouble, don't hesitate to ask us!

Not necessarily. There are many options for hotels close to the wedding venue (Vinpearl Ha Long), they are good and quite affordable, you can search on Booking.com or Tripadvisor, or check the recommendations on our Instagram @weddinghuongtung. 

Ride-hailing apps are very popular in big cities in Vietnam. They offer both car & motorbike services, accept credit/debit cards, and are very affordable. Three leading apps right now are Grab, Be, and Gojek. You should download those 3 apps and connect your credit cards before coming to Vietnam. 

In some cities (Ha Long is one of them) where ride-hailing apps are not popular, Mai Linh Taxi (more popular in the North of Vietnam) and Vinasun Taxi (more popular in the South) are the two safe choices. You can either use their mobile apps or contact their local call centers to get a taxi. Their call centers' numbers are:

Traffic jam is a thing in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. You should avoid commuting by cars in those cities in the rush hours: 07:30 - 09:00 and 17:30 - 19:30

We (Tung and Huong) will provide the transportation to go and come back from our wedding venue. The exact time and meeting point in Hanoi will be communicated later.
